Q&A / Troubleshooting:

Can I use this Type-c headphones with USB adapter on old PC? My PC installed Win 8.

Answer: Yes, it CAN work with Windows 8. It is 100% compatible with Windows XP or later version of Windows.

How long is the headphones cord?

Answer: It’s 120cm / 3.9FT. It MAY NOT enough to reach the USB port under the desk.

For laptop PC and all-in-one desktop PC, the 3.9FT cord is enough.

Please check your working enviroment before purchase.

Can I use the in-line control to pick up the con-call on computer?

Answer: On Windows 10, you can use the in-line control to do volume up / down and play / pause the tracks. But you CANNOT use the central key to pick up / end phone call / switch tracks as it does on smartphones.

Can I use the in-line control to mute the microphone? If not, is there a way to mute?

Answer: You can press and hold the “minus” button in the in-line control to mute the speaker but you CANNOT mute the microphone in this way.

If you want to mute the microphone, please follow the instructions below:

Step 1. Connect this Type-C headphones (CGS-W1A) to your PC.

Step 2. Select Start , then select Settings > System > Sound . In Input, select the microphone “TX-384Khz HiFi Type-C Audio” under “Choose your input device”, then select “Device Properties”, click the Checkbox for “Disable” in the “Microphone Properties” window. Then Windows and other applications cannot use this microphone as input device.

The microphone can be enabled in the same way.
