The P2 is Samsung’s first widescreen (16×9) video MP3 player with an optimized, touchscreen user interface. In addition, new to the lineup is Bluetooth functionality. The Bluetooth capability will enable the P2 to pair with other Bluetooth 2.0 devices. The P2 comes ready to pair with stereo Bluetooth 2.0 headphones and speaker systems to provide high-quality wireless listening. The P2 will play your MPEG4 and WMV9 video files in a 16:9 DVD-friendly format and at up to 30 frames per second. The Samsung Multimedia Software (included with the P2) transcodes the video on the computer before transferring to the P2, so videos on the P2 play at the optimal frame size/rate with minimal effort from the user. Also, the P2 is ready for DRM videos from subscription sites like CinemaNow.com or Vongo.com. Music Playback
The P2 plays MP3, WMA, and OGG audio formats. As you probably know, MP3 files are the most common music format available today. WMA uses a high-quality compression technology so users can have smaller files that sound in near CD quality. Use the Samsung Multimedia Software to transfer JPEG images onto the P2 for viewing on the device. Images can be zoomed and re-centered. Any JPEG on the P2 also can be used as wallpaper, so you can customize and make the P2 yours. FM Tuner
The built-in FM tuner will scan the entire FM range in less than 60 seconds, automatically placing the available FM stations into presets. To eliminate stations with marginal reception, users can adjust the sensitivity to only preset stations with strong reception. Bluetooth 2.0

Viewing text files on the P2 is a snap–text color is customizable and can be viewed in portrait or landscape view. The P2 also comes with a file viewer, which allows users to view and delete any file on the device without the PC. Widescreen LCD with Touch Control
The P2 boasts a 3-inch WQVGA screen, which allows for widescreen viewing of your favorite clips and movies. The touchscreen also reacts to your gestures using EmoTure, an input system built by Samsung that goes beyond just merely tapping selections.
