Why is VPN connected when using Weline APP?

VPN is a remote access technology. During a communication process from a Weline App to a Weline smart hardware product, the network data packets are sent from the phone to the Weline smart hardware product after high-intensity encryption.

How to Map Network Drive in Local PC?

APP Connection for Family NAS: Both mobile devices and PCs can store and read pictures, videos and documents. All functions are implemented on the Weline APP without any complicated configuration. Support Samba and DLNA Protocol.
VPN Exclusive Channel: The SDVN technology used by Weline establishes an encrypted channel between devices and nas server, and remote access through VPN. Data is transferred directly between the NAS and the device, not through an external server.
Permanent Free Private Cloud: Weline does not require any subscription fees. Easily share photos and videos to different devices anytime. The master account can authorize permissions to multiple users and create public clouds and private spaces.
NAS or DAS: NAS(Network Attached Storage) allows devices to be connected remotely, and DAS(Direct Attached Storage) acts as an external hard drive via a data cable. Wired and wireless double data protection.
Transmission Speed: The intranet speed can reach 60-80MB/s. The cross-region transmission can reach 4-7MB/s, and normally 4-7MB/s is fully sufficient. If you can’t achieve the desired speed, it may be related to your hard disk and network environment, please contact customer service to solve your problem!
